Ilya Zakharin is a portrait photographer, visual artist, and coach based in Berlin. A graduate of Lette Verein Berlin, he developed a distinctive visual language centered on sculptural use of light, the physicality of his subjects, and the expression of their unique identities.
He participates in group and solo exhibitions across Germany and the European art scene, creates commercial projects, and offers one-on-one consultations and coachings for photographers and creative professionals, focusing on portfolio development, visual language, and personal artistic strategy.
Ilya develops visual concepts for artists—including independent and creative practitioners—entrepreneurs, local brands, and corporate clients, crafting images that build their unique identity and strengthen their presence.
Clients: Live Fast Die Young (LFDY), AGE of Bandage, Reanimator, Verginele, as well as SIEGESSÄULE, KALTBLUT Magazine, and FUUUCKINGYOUNG.
In his personal practice, Ilya explores identity, sexuality, and self-expression, combining the visual codes of Renaissance painting and classical sculpture with a contemporary photographic language. In 2024, he published his debut photobook BODY — a personal artistic reflection on the boundaries of sexuality in contemporary society.
